Outstanding companies and organisations in the area of green energy have been recognised at the annual Action Renewables Association Awards at the Stormont Hotel on March 20.
From an entry list of 70 candidates, eight winners were selected along with 10 runners-up.
Andy Baird of Planet Solar picked up first prize in the category celebrating outstanding work in the renewable sector.
Best Community Project was won by co-operative Drumlin Wind Energy. SALIIS took top slot in the Best Renewable Export Company while Clyde Shanks triumphed in the Best Planner, Renewable Energy Project category.
